   I was a bit hesitant ordering this set after I read the reviews. My husband initially ordered it for our 3.5 year old daughter and I cancelled the order. But she really wanted this set because the mouths moved. So I reordered it again. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these hand puppets. All eyes were intact. No rips or tears. Super soft. No, there is no moveable mouth on the elephant which is fine with us.Also, I should add that after having these a day, my daughter spilled a PediaSure shake on them. And all over my carpet. Anyways, threw them in the wash on cold, regular wash. Was a bit worried about the cardboard in the mouth disintegrating but they came out perfect. Popped in the dryer on low and wa-la!Fit wise: I am fairly petite (5’3”) and my hands can fit in these. I do not think an adult with a larger hand would be able to fit in these. So good for little kids, older kids, possibly a female teenager or adult with smaller sized hands.

   I was a little nervous to order this given the low price and some of the reviews which mentioned things like missing eyes or bent/misshapen whiskers (on the lion). However, my set was impeccable. All the puppets were intact, and lovely and I adore that the mouth moves (except the elephant). In fact I was only searching for puppets whose mouth moves. My 2.5 year old daughter loves to play the alphabet game, and when she chooses the right letter she giggles to see the puppet “eat it up”… or kiss her… so having a moving mouth was essential. Yes, there were “prettier” puppets on amazon but for much higher prices. I like that this is a set of multiples and for a very VERY good price. Next on the itinerary… having a little puppet play :)))

   These are well made and cute. Older kids and adults will be able to use them easily but young kids will not. It’s a little difficult to manipulate the mouth.

   Everyone was complaining about the other hand puppets, saying they were so small you cannot get your hand inside. These are soft and big enough to get your hand inside and operate the puppet. Very cute too. Granddaughter is going to love them

   I was skeptical about these so we bought two presents for my nephew and gave him both. He opened up a ton of gifts and when it was all over it were these puppets he reached for and played with first. You can put your fingers in the arms and mouth except for one. The elephant did not have a moveable mouth due to the trunk I assume. But the rest did and my nephew didn’t seem to care. They are made for smaller hands so these are for kids.

   My son loves these little puppets. They seem durable and I don’t see any parts that can come off. They are also really soft. I have big hands so I can barely get them on, but I manage. Definitely recommend.

   Fun to play with my granddaughter with these. We do Old Mcdonald lol but they don’t really fit a grownup hand and they look a little off. I probably wouldn’t gift them, but like I said my one year old has enjoyed them.
