   I bought it for my 9-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. She hasn’t seen it yet, of course, but I’m enjoying playing with it! It takes about 10 seconds to get the hang of moving her (don’t forget to remove the velcro from around the strings — they keep the strings from tangling during shipment). I know my GD will love it, and I am now going to buy another marionette, a different one, so she and her friend can each play when they’re together.

   My one year old granddaughter’s face really lights up when she sees Amy. Right now, she’s too young to let her get too close to Amy. When she does, she wants to pull on her strings and Amy gets all tangled up. Whenever she comes for a visit, Amy is always there to greet her (we have her hanging just out of reach on a wall planter). Her face lights up and she waves the minute she sees her friend Amy ! She loves it when I move Amy along the floor and make her dance … and she always loves a hug from Amy. I am considering getting Amy a boyfriend !

   The product arrived in a bag, stapled label to bag. It appears to be a Dollar General product. I am not returning it because my 6 year old granddaughter will not recognize the product quality (I did) and will be a good marionette to practice with, but I was disappointed.
