I just had to write a review once I got this puppet! I was looking long & hard for a realistic looking bunny to have for some Easter picture-taking, and boy, does this one fit the bill!!! I got it a couple of days ago, and I still startle myself as I pass it by, because every time I think it is the real animal.I had pulled it out of the package I set it in a basket before my kids got home on the day the shipment arrived, and they thought i got them a REAL rabbit!!! LOL! This one is sooooo worth the money – great quality & softness of the fur, the eyes are so realistic, and if you move it just so while cradling the puppet in your arms, you are sure to full many a kids that it is the real thing!!! Just plain PERFECT! My kids want to hold it all the time now.PS: FYI the puppet is a ‘rabbit’ size not ‘bunny’ size.

I just received two of these puppets today and was pleasantly surprised. After reading certain reviews, I was a little worried but they both look like the photo and more importantly, they both look real with a little tweaking. Someone had mentioned the mouth being open. On one puppet, the mouth was open yet the other had a mouth that was almost shut. Because I’m not using mine for a puppet, I just stitched the mouth closed. The other small issue is the fur around the eyes and on the face. It can make the eyes appear too small/mostly covered so you can either snip the fur or use some gel to smooth down the fur. Cottontail faces aren’t that poofy either. As for the general proportioning, very good. Criticism is the foot size is a tiny bit larger in terms of width and the fur color has a slight amount of ‘ivory’ throughout. Also, the shading is a little much but not awful. This would be the size of a large adult cottontail. The fur has a more mottled appearance to it, like some of the fur coloring I’ve seen on cottontails when they are perhaps shedding a winter coat. The shape of the body/pose, the eyes, ear length, leg length etc all are realistic. I was very impressed with the detail and the quality of workmanship. These puppets would be good enough to use as decoys if you have a hawk or owl that likes to hunt and you want to fool it without harming it (much better than many of the decoys used for hunting). I give the designers of this puppet an A for the attention to detail and realism.

I received my cottontail rabbit puppet and it it looked exactly like the picture. The craftmanship was very good. The only thing i did notice was that one of the eyes was sunken in but that could be fixable by pressing the head since its a stuffed animal, filled with stuffing. Otherwise i love the way it looks. I bought it for my young daighter and she loves it which makes me happier!

Many years ago, I began telling my children stories that featured Hoppy the Rabbit, Shirley the Squirrel, Jack the Bear and Paula Porcupine. The Woodland friends became a fond memory. The children became fabulous adults and now the magical grace of grandchildren have arrived and the furry favorites are back at their happy adventures with a new addition: puppets! I just opened the first of three and Hoppy was right there in our house. Our three year old grandson was smitten at first sight. Hugs and kisses were showered on our guest. Tomorrow Jack and Shirley arrive. Later, wise old Mr. Owl and prickly Paula will join the crew and maybe Oscar the grumpy hedgehog too! Seriously, this rabbit is just amazing. Highly recommend turning the electronics off and letting your inner creator run wild. Make up a song or two. This grandpa is super excited for more guests to come visit.

Bought 2 for my grandchildren (5 & 9) for Christmas. In this world of electronics I decided to shop βold schoolβ They fell in love with them and the fact they were puppets was a big hit. The grands carry them everywhere and they look so lifelike. I recommend.

Like having a real bunny but without the raisins.

The rabbit is beautiful and my 2 year old little granddaughter loved it. She slipped it on her arm and by moving her arm she animated it, but in order to really move the mouth and head etc. you need longer fingers and more coordination, so we took turns animating it…
