This teeny baby emperor penguin finger puppet is ADORABLE and really well made. It was a birthday present for my penguin loving 7 year old daughter. For her party all she wanted was to go feed the penguins at the zoo, so we did, and she took her new finger puppet with her. And somewhere she LOST it. As soon as she realized it was missing it was IMMEDIATE and COMPLETE PANIC. So my husband RAN all over the Seattle zoo looking for it high, low and everywhere in between, and darn it this thing is SMALL!!! We’re talking maybe 5 inches??? It was starting to get dark and cold and rainy… And they were about to close… Thankfully super dad saved the day cuz it was about to be the worse birthday in history. But there it was, in the dirt, under the Komodo dragon statue she had been climbing on earlier.Moral of the story. It’s ADORABLE, and it’s so cute to see my precious daughter with her teeny little hands holding this cute little thing and talking for him in a high, squeaky voice saying “I’m so cold! I miss my snuggly wuggly egg!”. But be warned, it’s SMALL and EASILY lost! Not only at zoos but also at grocery stores, between couch cushions and behind the bed.

My 5 year daughter is a fan of penguins and I thought this would be a wonderful Easter basket gift. I am overjoyed at how much she loved this finger puppet penguin. She even made it a tiny bed and carries it in a little box:) That being said, I felt as if I paid a little more than I think it is worth for the following reasons:1. It’s tiny. The picture on Amazon shows the penguin sitting in a hand… the hand must be very tiny;) Check the dimension of this product to make sure it is the size you are looking for.2. It’s a finger puppet- but really, you can just stick your finger in it’s bottom. I’ll let you decided if your children will make jokes about that;)3. The photo, to me, looks slightly nicer in quality.Overall, I give this 3 stars. I would have given it five if the price was right. Just seemed like I could have found the same thing at a dollar store.

Gifted this to my 7 year old cousin who shares her love for penguins. She LOVES it! Carried it around with her and made little clothes for it!Great gift and adorable little penguin. Happy with this purchase!

Folkmanis makes the best little stuffies, including these finger puppets. I’ve bought several of the finger puppets for various nieces and nephews over the years and they have always been a hit. I think children love them because they are perfectly sized for children’s hands and because they look “real”.

My husband loves stuffed animals and wanted a more portable penguin. So I bought him this adorable little thing. He’s able to take him with him so he has a cuddle buddy all the time!

My life has changed. Everything is better now. Pity I had to give it away to my six year old nephew.
