I got this puppet set to go with our wooden puppet theatre stand. my boys love the shark and dinosaur heads and have a lot of fun playing with them. Unfortunately, one of the shark puppets ripped on the first day, which was a bummer for them. I think it is because the material is really soft and stretchy but if you stretch it to hard when putting your hand in, it can tear.

My 6-year-old great nephew already has a similar set and has played with them off and on since last Christmas…that says a ton! The problem is my 4-year-old great nephew is always wanting them. Both of the boys were SO surprised and excited to each have a shark and a dinosaur hand puppet when they came to visit. These are thickish, well made and fits my two great nephews’ hands perfectly. Also, extremely easy to clean and sanitize. I use soap and water, or a sanitizer wipe and I have even sprayed them with a sanitizer. Lots of play time with these and super easy to store as well.

These hand puppets are super sticky and a little silly looking, but they are decent quality and the kids seem to like them and have a good time

pro – the birthday boy liked the hand puppetscon – quality not worth the amount paid

We have another pupped like this, but in comparison, it’s much more sturdy than these. These are fun and cute, but pretty cheaply made. The material is on the thin side, so I suspect it would rip pretty easily. While my kids haven’t had any puppet wars yet, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Fun set of 4, giftable, but probably won’t last forever.

I got these because i thought they were like latex hand puppets for my son. These are sticky silicone that will grab any little bit of dirt and debris they touch. If you don’t mind this, then these are great for you. If you have a lived in household and things sometimes get a little dusty or some pet hair, then i highly recommend you don’t get this

These puppets are actually somewhat oily/slimy….wanted them to give my kids, but I opted not to do that. The designs are nice enough; they ship in a plastic bag, basically sticking together. That may be part of the reason for the odd appearance/feel, just from being in a bag with other rubber items. Not sure if they can be cleaned off or not, but overall I was disappointed with these guys.

For some reason, hand puppets had not occurred to me as I looked into ways of keeping an active child occupied. Tablets, trucks, airplanes and the like have always been the go-to things where that is concerned. I saw these and it immediately hit me: here is something different; something that will engage a different part of a child’s mind.Getting these was not a mistake and we regret not stumbling upon them much sooner. The range of activities involving these puppets have done a lot in the past weeks to not only entertain, but also educate. Whether it’s story time or time to scare grandma (remotely, mind you), they bring out different creative sides in kids that are interesting to see. The 3-year-old gets lost in play pretend and is absolutely hilarious when he tries to throw his voice as one hand speaks to the other. The paint is well done and it does not peel. The rubber material feels as if it will withstand the daily abuse. It is soft so it should not become brittle or dry and crack. Time will tell.Hand puppets are fun if you have kids to entertain. It engages them in many ways and enhances their creativity and learning. These are a blast!
