   Purchased for my son for Christmas. It can be a little hard to operate the mouth (cord is hard to pull). The dummy really should have a pole or something connected to the head that runs down the body. Everytime you you pull the string his head goes backwards. All in all, it’s a decent 1st ventriloquist dummy for the money.

   This was a Christmas gift requested by my 12 year old son. The doll is difficult & he picked it up once & has not played with it again.

   We ordered a ventriloquist dummy to be used in a Christmas drama. When we received it, we naturally took him out of the case to examine him and after doing so, we discovered that it was too difficult to make the mouth move with one hand. So we thought we would return him and get one that was a little better…an upgrade. Upon further research, we discovered the(extremely)”fine print” that if the dummy was removed from the case AT ALL, we could not return it for a refund or even an exchange! I feel like this is absurd, seeing as how the only way we would know it didn’t work the way we needed it to was to remove it from the case and try it.

   Brought for my son, who loves this product. He has taken it to school on several occasions and loves the attention that he get. He takes it everywhere. A couple of issues 1) the shoes come off too easy and 2) same with the hat.

   I was expecting a real dummy that you used your hand to talk and blink and thing like that but this was cheaply made and and had only a single pull string to make it talk… It reminded me of toy story. I really don’t think it was worth the money
