   Let me tell you a little about this toy. As far as a resemblance to the actual cookie monster I believe its spot on. The functionality of the puppet is exactely as expected. You can use the hands and the mouth if your skilled enough but the functionality isnt what impressed me. I bought this puppet because a review said that it was quite durable. Well I have used the puppet to play aggressively with my puppy and he has yet to rip it, tear it, or really damage it at all. If you have a toddler or small child you are buying this for then expect for the puppet to remain perfectly in tact throughout your childs entire life. I took it outside and stompped on it just to prove a point to my puppy that fun can’t last forever. To my avail no known damage. I have to say overall I’m very pleased with my purchase and am thinking about buying all the sesame street characters and putting on a play in my backyard for my neighbors who will never show up. 10/10 would buy again. But ill never have to because this puppet will last forever. Long after humans have left this earth my cookie monster puppet will roam the lands bringing joy to every puppy/and or child he encounters.Update: My puppy has completely destroyed this puppet. Disregard everything I said

   This Cookie Monster is adorable, soft, stitched well, and actually looks like Cookie Monster! But why not 5 stars? It’s HUGE in the width where you extend your fingers to control the arms if you have an average-sized adult hand. (Maybe LeBron could palm this, but…) The mouth is very difficult to move- for an adult it’s difficult, for a child it’s almost impossible, but hopefully that’ll improve with use. However, you can’t changed the width of the body. (Measurements with measuring tape in pictures)

   It’s not meant for an adult, meant for a kid or someone with small hands . This was definitely bigger on the inside than the Elmo we purchased but hard to move so hard to get the puppet to move . We will be using it for decorating now . Hurt my husband hand afterwards. Would gift it but not meant for what we needed it for .

   It’s perfect for a hand puppet. Work great and even has movable hands if you can stretch uiu hands that way, hands down perfect for entertaining my grand baby while we watch Seseme Street together.

   I have this item as a back up. My son has autism and with autism comes sensory difficulties and needs. He has gone through one of these last school year. So I got him this one for the new school year. He loves it as always the texture is very soft and the material is shiny in a way it has a reflective aspect to it that he also loves!
